Registration for the NHG-AHPL career symposium is now open! Please note that priority will be given to final year medical students from YLLSoM and Duke-NUS GMS due to capacity constraints.

The National Healthcare Group-Alexandra Hospital Private Limited career symposium will be held on the 31st of July, split over two sessions - a morning session at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) followed by an afternoon session at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH)

A brief outline of the day's program:
Morning session (KTPH)
1. Welcome Address
2. Introduction of Assistant Program Directors (APDs) and Core Faculty (CF)
3. Tour of KTPH (selected facilities)
4. Interaction with APDs and CF

Free shuttle bus transfer to TTSH

Afternoon session (TTSH)
1. Buffet Lunch
2. Welcome Address
3. Interaction with Program Directors, Faculty Members, Residents

We hope this gives you the chance to get a good feel of all the elements of each specialty - the structure, career path, and people that you will be committing to, and the culture and environment offered by NHG-AHPL, or a chance to experience the brand new KTPH.

The reporting venues will be the KTPH auditorium in the morning, and Clinic 4A at TTSH in the afternoon.

A free shuttle bus transfer will be available from KTPH to TTSH. Participants who wish to drive will have to make their own parking arrangements.

Information regarding the NHG-AHPL residency program can be found via the symposium handbook, online, and from various powerpoint presentations (at TTSH) on the event day itself. Participants are advised to utilize all these avenues of information first before interacting with the faculty to avoid asking frequently asked questions and to make the most out of their time with them.

Unfortunately, NHG-AHPL has limited capacity and is able to accomodate 250 students maximum for its career symposium. Therefore, we encourage only final year medical students from both YLLSoM and Duke-NUS GMS to register. Priority will be given to such students, on a first come first served basis.

Another session for medical students from other years is currently in the pipeline. More details will be released as soon as we can.

Registration for the NHG-AHPL career symposium is now open! Please note that registration is limited to final year students.
